Find out from your provider how to setup newsgroups (Don't say you are running XNEWS or anything besides an email program... violation of service). Here in Canaduh it's 'shawnews' for cable owners as the server name and an email address/ password for the 'account'. Load up XNEWS and get a full list of groups. Go onto www.newzbin.net and search for anything.. let's say DAWN OF THE DEAD. Hawlla! It appears according to newzbin it's located in alt.b.dvd and alt.b.mm and alt.b.divx ... that stands for alt.binaries.dvd / alt.binaries.multimedia blaH Balh... Do a search on newsgroups/USEnet in google.com to learn more about what's going on at this point. I'm kinda drunk and can't think after that 10th Kirin beer. ANyhoo go into one of those binaries groups and refresh all the headers (XNEWS will do this automatically) Make sure all parts/.par files are loaded up and COMPLETE. (IE: numbered 1-25 and not like missing a part.. or whatever). Press tab to que all that shit up and then hit the 'decode' little box thing beside the stop button at the bottom of XNEWS or 'save-as'. Yay. in 45mins you'll have a full rip of a movie depending on connection. That's 1.6 GIGS of movie action in like 45mins/1hr or so if the rip is decent quality. Doom9.org has way more info than I can ever provide.. but what you want is to look for DVD rips called 'screeners' and the like. Nothing worse than a shitty hand-held CAM rip.

PARs are recovery files so you can rebuild .rar archives if they've been corrupted during the posting to newsgroups.
